Rocky Mountain Orthodox Church Camp  August 3-6
* Note from Father Lawrence:  I am encouraging all of our youngsters to attend and perhaps some of our High School Students to be helpers.  I believe Bishop Benjamin will be there this year.  Please see Fr. Lawrence for details.  The cost is $115.00 per camper.  As has been our tradition - the families pay 1/3, the church 1/3 and the Rose Marie Ladies of the Church pay 1/3.  This year, due to our budget, I am asking that the families pick up 2/3 and the Ladies pick up 1/3.  Plan to send you children to this camp instead of another "Bible Camp".
Slavic Fest 2008 will be 2nd weekend in October.  Watch for upcoming information!
What is the Slavic Fest?  The majority of our people at St. Mary's have parents, grandparents and great grandparents who immigrated from Slovakia/ Austrio-Hungary in the late 1800's.  We have grown up eating the foods from their homeland, celebrating life events as they did, and we celebrate this with our Slavic Fest on the second weekend of October.  We have great, mouthwatering foods to eat and try, music, and dancers to celebrate the occasion, and  gifts to purchase, as well as a very popular bake sale of homemade bakery items to purchase.  We started celebrating this event in 2003 and continue to do so each year.  So watch this site for the information for the 2008 event.  Thank you.
