Annual Men's Night at the Rockies & Family Night The
4th Annual Family night at the Ball game was held on June 6th in Colorado Springs when a group of about 40 people went to
watch the Sky Sox play ball. Unfortunately the Sox lost, but it was a good time of fellowship, and concluded with a
great fireworks display.
2nd
Annual Colorado Rockies Tuesday, June 17, a group of 14 people headed out
for Denver, to Coors Field, enjoying a quick meal together before heading into the game. The Colorado Rockies were playing
the Cleveland Indians. It was a warm evening, but with seats in the shade and relatively high up above the home plate,
we were reasonably comfortable. The seats were good ones to track the flight of the ball across the field. Of
course having the Rockies win with a score of 10-2, made everyone happy campers.

Church News
We currently are planning on the repairs for the St. Tikhon's Chapel. Scott Mikita is heading
up this committee. First project in the works is to reinforce the foundation, putting in a 4 foot sidewalk all
the way around the church, and putting plexiglass around the steeple to prevent leaking. Watch this site for further
information about the work as it is done.
Announcements: Romanian Orphanage Donations The
Protection of the Theotokos Family Center in Cluj-Napoca Romania could use our help. This family center and orphanage
is dedicated to serving children and parents facing misery and despair. They are seeking new and used baby clothes (to
age 4) and toys and of course any financial contribution that we are able to make. Please feel free to bring clothes
and toys to church and we will ship them to Romania. If you have any questions, please contact Michael Hunter at the
church.
